AN AL-KO PRODUCT FOR AN AL-KO PRODUCT

AMS Mammut is the only recommended caravan manoevering system developed specifically to fully integrate with the new generation, market leading Vario II caravan chassis.

The System takes the strain out of maneovering a caravan either on site or at home. The powerful drive units, capable of moving the caravan over a variety of ground conditions, are fixed directly to the chassis members. This ensures that the clearance beneath the caravan is maintained and protecting the motors from potential collision damage.

The lightweight, integrated system weights 29kg and can be fitted without the need to remove other chassis fixed accessories, such as the AL-KO Spare Wheel Carrier, Octagon Shock Absorbers and Side Lift Jack brackets.

From the middle of April 2010, all single axle chassis members have been manufactured with the pre-punched mounting holes to allow easy fitment of the drive motors and cross member.

AFTERMARKET SINGLE AXLE AMS MAMMUT

AL-KO have also designed an aftermarket fitment version of Mammut to suit all existing caravans with either an AL-KO or non AL-KO chasis that do not feature the mounting holes.

The drive units will be fixed at the same height as the integrated chassis version by means of a clamp bracket. The bracket also attaches the cross member to the underside of the caravan chassis, reducing the clearance underneath the caravan by approximately 50mm
